As per provision of the notification, Chhattisgarh Environmental
Conservation Board is placing the Summary Environment Impact Assessment reports in English and
Hindi language of the following projects/ activities proposed by M/s. Rama Udyog Pvt. Ltd. Siltara Industrial Growth Center Phase-II, Village - Siltara, Tahsil - Dharsiwa, District - Raipur 493111 C.G To refer the Summary Environment Impact Assessmentreports please click the respective project/activity shown below :-
Proposed Project- brownfield involving capacity expansion within 14.21 Ha. of existing land area. In the proposed expansion, M/s. RUPL aims to reconfiguration of DRI Kilns 4 x 50 TPD to 2 x 100 TPD of Sponge Iron. Increase in production capacity of MS Billets through IF’s from 57,800 metric tons per annum (TPA) to 250,000 TPA, alongside the installation of new CCMs to get hot rerolled product. Furthermore, a state-of-the-art rolling mill will be established for the production of 30,000 TPA of rerolled steel, utilizing the Billet Reheating Furnace based on coal gasifier. Additionally, plans include the incorporation of a Ferro Alloys facility – SAF 6 MVA) to produce 9,000 TPA of Silico Manganese. Finally, to ensure sustainable energy practices, M/s. RUPL intends to propose to continue and waste heat recovery boilers (WHRB) (6MW) and Atmospheric Fluidized Bed Combustion (AFBC) (02 MW) along with proposed 6 MW biomass-based power plant
